She is breathtaking in the photo here. Amanda is also featured on the cover in a cute photo. Kind of annoyed they don't mention her role on Veronica Mars. Her "breakthrough roles" were Mean Girls and Big Love. Whatever! |

Thank you for the link, darwinstone. I always liked Amanda. She is a very versatile actress and I think the one with a future. I'm not
surprised they didn't mention VM. The show generated enough buzz among the critics, but it was never a big success in Hollywood sense of the word. When
they mention "breakthrough" roles, they mean "seen by a lot of people." Sigh.

Thanks Darwinstone, it is kind of annoying that they didn't mention VM but I guess they didn't mention it because, as Jane said, they went with the
roles that would be seen by more people. I always find it weird when I read things about Amanda and they have mean Girls in brackets beside her name as the
reference point, I just always go straight to VM when I hear her name.
It's funny that she mentioned Claire Danes as being the first girl she related to but mentioned Romeo and Juliet, I had one of those moments with Claire Danes too but it was when I saw My So Called Life lol. I'm glad to see articles like this popping up about her, I think she has a good future ahead of her and I'm glad to see her getting more out there and getting recognition. I actually saw another picture of her in Vanity Fair recently also, she was one of the vanities I think they're calling them. It's like a girl in every issue that is done up in fifties style and a little article on them, she looked really well in it, I believe KB may have been in it one month aswell, it's some up and coming actress thing they do, but it was cool to see Amanda getting a little feature and publicity. I hope Mamma Mia will get her some more publicity and open more doors for her. I found the other Vanity Fair article I was talking about here. She looks a lot more stunning in the Bright Young Hollywood shoot as it's not themed, she's more herself but she looks great in this picture too and it's just good to see her getting publicity. Her Vanities Girls photo also looks a lot less photoshopped than some of the others in there.
