aussiekath and randomaus1 are two new posters who came out (HI!) and I was wondering what brought you to this board, and made you fans of Jason. Are you former Veronica Mars fans, or did Moonlight hook you on him? Do tell.!

I loved Veronica Mars from the very first time I saw it. It first aired at 7.30 on Friday nights here in Australia and I sometimes still get that little frisson of excitement on Friday afternoon that tonight is THE night. I can't remember when I really started to like Logan but I do remember thinking that he was one of the best bits about the show from the very beginning and it wasn't long before he was my fav. character.
I find it difficult to really join in discussions because Moonlight has only been airing for about 5 weeks in Australia & I'm not 'technical' enough to work out how to download episodes (if anyone can help, that would be great). It's also on at 9.30 at night & that's pretty much bedtime for me but I am enjoying Moonlight (and it's great to see another Australian doing well in Hollywood). As for ADC, I came here from LoveShack where I also lurked for awhile ... fanfiction is a guilty pleasure of mine. Jason Dohring is just a great actor. I can't wait to see what else he does. |

I'm the same as aussiekath, I got into VM when it aired here in Australia. Logan became my favourite around episode five. I'm still not sure what happened in that episode that brought it on, but when the next episode started I was just so happy to see him. I was on the LoVe Shack too, and it was my first (and only) forum that I've made it to more than 10 posts. Maybe I can surpass that here. I guess I am somewhat "technically" savvy as I download Moonlight. Me and my BFF watch it together on the Sunday after it airs in the US. I watch it on TV too though. I actually know a couple of people that post here from Livejournal; coreLoVe and alee23 (I'm 101randomwords). |

I too have come from LoVe shack. I didn't post too much over there basically because I hadn't downloaded the episodes of Veronica Mars and couldn't comment on a lot.
As for when I found out how much I liked Jason, I'm not really sure but I know I did think in the episode where Logan did the Lily video that there could be a potential pairing between Veronica and Logan. I also had a dislike of Donut and firmly believe that if Jason had have been playing Duncan the favourite pairing would have been Duncan/Veronica. As for Moonlight, the show itself is right up my alley. I love vampire shows or anything fantasy/sci fi so it was great news for me when I heard Jason was going to be on the show. I'm proud of my efforts last week too. I had recorded Moonlight and Men in Trees which came on after it and I was talking to someone who also likes Men In Trees and she didn't realise that Men in Trees had been on that late. I then let her borrow my tape and told her Men in Trees was on about an hour into the tape. She came back to me this week and told me how much she liked Moonlight. I'm now providing her with the first couple of episodes. By the way Jennifer, although I don't get to watch it that much I love the Ejami banner. |

What hurt the character of Duncan even more was Teddy Dunn's lifeless, charmless performance. And the total lack of chemistry between him and KB. Had JD been cast as Duncan -- the part he actually auditioned for to begin with -- I truly think it would have turned out differently. Not that I wish for that. I adore Logan. LOL. And yeay for converting a new recruit! Good job.
