Currently, I've been listening a lot to Absolute Garbage, the Greatest Hits album from Garbage. Both #1 Crush and You look so fine remind me of Logan Echolls, btw

(and yes, it's sounds funny to say outloud). #1 Crush, You look so fine, The World is Not Enough and, of course, Bad Boyfriend are all VM/LoVe/Logan songs to me! And it's so good to find out I'm not the only one. LOL. Hmm, what am I listening to... Such a total, random mass of things. Always Leonard Cohen (at this point, he is the soundtrack of my life, lol), The Essential Leonard Cohen. Amy Winehouse, Back to Black. Her voice owns my soul right now, even if her lyrics make me uncomfortable (maybe that's the point?). Across the Universe soundtrack that someone slipped me. Not the greatest singing, but for some reason I can't stop listening. Even with the less-than-Beatles-caliber delivery, the songs are magic! Happiness is a Warm Gun gets a lot of play with me right now. What else. Odds and ends, really. Some Johnny Cash (one of the few country/folk/whatever I can stand). Some oldies. Louis Prima mostly, but I've got others. And a song here and there from tons of different sources, too numerous to mention.

I absolutely adore The World Is Not Enough, brilliant song. I know what you mean about Back to Black, the lyrics are somewhat disturbing but enthralling too. I'm also listening to Tegan and Sara at the moment because I told a friend I would go see them with her next month. The rest is pretty much a total mash up, I'll listen to everything and anything depending on my mood. I'm going through a Nick Cave phase at the moment, The Beatles and The Beach Boys (Pet Sounds) are never far away. Mostly old school stuff, there's not many bands that are a)still together or b)all members alive that I listen to.

It also reminds me of Logan, the post-"yeah, someday" walking away Logan, leaving Veronica to swoon Apologize I know this is not a LoVe board, but there are a LOT of LoVe fans on the board and out of respect to them, we try not to refer to Veronica as that. Believe us, we are, a lot of times, right there with you feeling frustrated with the character. It's just that we try to have an all-inclusive environment and sometimes it takes watching out for what we say and how we phrase it. No biggie and thank you.
